At Shelly Ann Creations, each product is handmade and often custom-made to your unique specifications. Because of this personalized nature, returns and exchanges are not accepted.

Before an order is started, customers will receive a confirmation email outlining all requested details, including yarn brand, type, and colorway. This ensures accuracy and satisfaction before production begins.

If you receive your item and believe there is an issue with craftsmanship or the product does not match the approved confirmation details, please contact shellyanncreations@gmail.com within 5 business days of receiving your order. We will review your concern and, if applicable, determine an appropriate resolution.

Refund Policy

All payments are considered final due to the handmade and custom nature of our products.

Custom Orders:

– A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before materials are purchased or production begins.

– The remaining 50% balance is due prior to delivery or shipping of the finished item.

Refunds:

– Refunds are NOT issued once work has begun on a custom item. In the rare event that a cancellation is approved before materials are purchased, the non-refundable deposit will be retained to cover initial costs and time.

Pricing Changes:

– Prices are subject to change without notice. However, once a deposit is received, your quoted price will be honored for that order.

Shipping Policy

At Shelly Ann Creations, each item is handmade with care and attention to detail. Because of this, production and shipping times may vary depending on the complexity of the order and current workload.

Processing Time:

– Ready-to-Ship Items: Typically ship within 3–5 business days after full payment is received.

– Custom Orders: Processing times vary depending on design complexity and materials availability. Estimated completion and shipping dates will be provided in your confirmation email once your 50% deposit is received.

Shipping Methods & Delivery:

– All orders are shipped via USPS (or other reputable carriers) with tracking provided once your order ships. We are not responsible for delays in delivery once product is given to carrier.

– Domestic Shipping (U.S.): Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days.

– International Shipping: Available upon request; delivery times vary.

Shipping Costs:

– Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, size, and destination.

– For custom orders, shipping will be included in the final invoice unless otherwise noted.

Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages:

– Once an item is marked delivered by the carrier, Shelly Ann Creations is NOT LIABLE for loss or theft.

– If your item arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact shellyanncreations@gmail.com within 2 business days for assistance.

Address Accuracy:

– Please double-check your shipping address. We are not responsible for items sent to incorrect addresses.

Clothing & Product Disclaimer

Each item from Shelly Ann Creations is handcrafted with care, using high-quality yarns and fibers. Due to the handmade and custom nature of our work, slight variations and natural imperfections may occur — these are part of the character and individuality of handmade products.

Sizing & Fit:

– All custom sizing is based on the measurements provided by the customer. Please ensure your measurements are accurate before submitting them. Ready-made product sizing is based on general U.S. sizing measurements. (XS, S, M, L, XL, etc.)

– Slight differences in fit may occur due to fiber tension, stretch, and the natural behavior of yarn. Exact sizing CANNOT BE GUARANTEED, and such variations do not qualify as defects or grounds for return.

Yarn Characteristics:

– Handmade items may have loose or visible strings or small knots where fibers have been joined. These are normal and not considered defects.

– Garments or bags may stretch slightly with time and use. This is normal and part of the product’s natural wear.

Color & Care:

– Colors may vary slightly due to lighting, screen display differences, and dye lots.

– Prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause fading. Store away from direct light and follow care instructions.

Proper care helps preserve the beauty and longevity of your handmade crochet items. Please follow the guidelines below:

For Cotton Pieces:

– Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent.

– Gently squeeze out excess water — do not wring or twist.

– Lay flat on a clean towel to dry, reshaping as needed.

– Avoid hanging to dry, as this may cause stretching.

– Iron on low if necessary, using a pressing cloth for protection.

For Acrylic Pieces:

– Hand wash in cool water with gentle detergent.

– Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as they can damage fibers.

– Gently press out excess water and lay flat to dry.

– Do not iron; acrylic can melt under high heat.

– Store folded in a cool, dry place — avoid prolonged sun exposure to prevent fading.
